From sign-up to first paycheck.

Most Pros are approved within a business day and claim their first gig that same week. Here's the flow.

    Quick form: ID, insurance, vehicle photos. Five minutes if you have your wallet handy.
  2. STEP 2
    Get approved
    We run a background check via Stripe Identity. Most approvals land within one business day.
  3. STEP 3
    Claim gigs
    Open jobs hit the marketplace as guests book trips. First Pro to tap Claim wins it — no auctions.
  4. STEP 4
    Cash out
    Earnings settle when the job's complete. Friday weekly payout to your bank, every week.
Roles

Pick the gigs that fit you.

Three role types. Pros usually start in one and add others once they're approved — there's no extra application, just a checkbox in your dashboard.

Delivery driver
$25–60 per drop
4–8 drops per shift
Drop a guest's car at the airport, hotel, or Airbnb. Most common gig. Need a personal vehicle (we'll Lyft you back to it).
Detailing pro
$40–70 per car
2–3 cars per hour
Clean and inspect cars between trips at staging lots. Good fit for retirees, students, side-hustlers. No vehicle required.
Maintenance
$50–120 per service
Lower volume, higher per-job
Oil changes, tire rotations, light fixes. For mechanics with their own tools. Set your own service area.

  • Smartphone running iOS 17+ or Android 12+ — that's how you'll claim gigs
  • Personal vehicle for delivery roles (not required for detailing or maintenance)
  • Pass a Stripe Identity background check (it's quick — most clear in minutes)
  • Live on Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, or Kauai — local gigs only
  • W-9 on file at signup. You're a 1099 contractor, not an employee.

Do I need to live in Hawaii?
Yes. ReefRide Pro is for residents of Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, or Kauai. We don't fly Pros in.
Can I do this part-time?
Absolutely. There's no shift minimum. Plenty of Pros work nights or weekends only.
How fast do you pay?
Friday weekly via Stripe direct deposit. Funds typically land Saturday morning depending on your bank.
What about insurance?
Your personal car insurance covers you while driving your own vehicle. ReefRide's commercial policy covers you anytime you're handling a guest's rental.
Is the work seasonal?
Volume peaks December–April and June–August. Off-season is quieter but never dead — locals rent year-round.
Can I bring my own team?
Yes. Detailing pros and mechanics often run two-person crews. Each person has their own Pro account; tips are split however you arrange.
